A wildfire in southern France has forced many people to evacuate. Over 10,000 people living in the foothills of the French Pyrenees have been ordered to leave their homes. The fire is near a small town called Trévillach and has already burned a vast area of more than 4,600 hectares. Strong winds may cause the wildfire to spread even more. Patrice, a resident of Trévillach, expressed shock at the rapid spread of the fire. He said it was frightening and created panic among residents. The Tour de France cycling race is happening now, but spectators must stay away from the final part of the race to make way for emergency vehicles. In France, temperatures could rise again to 40°C, and this hot weather can lead to more wildfires. Climate change is also a major factor in these extreme temperatures.
